The story

A row-house given a startling new face: a rippling, crystalline secondary skin of folded aluminium panels cascades diagonally across the upper facade, catching light in a thousand faceted planes while quietly shading and screening the rooms behind. Below, a checkerboard of split-face granite and warm timber planter boxes grounds the composition, and a matching faceted screen wraps the entry gate. Behind the sculptural veil the house stays calm and modern — white render, black-framed glazing and small timber-lined balconies — letting the parametric screen carry the whole architectural story. Realised on site, the folded screen turns an ordinary infill plot into a neighbourhood landmark.
