The story

A tropical courtyard villa where honest materials carry the story — board-formed concrete, random flagstone, warm timber and woven rattan gather around double-height living volumes that slide open to garden, pool and sky. Deep cantilevered eaves and cascading planted roof edges shade the rooms while full-height black-framed glazing and cross-planted courtyards keep the house in constant conversation with its landscape. Quiet, human-scaled moments are built in: a sunken cushion platform beneath a black steel spiral stair, an indoor tree reaching toward a clerestory, and a pool that wraps the pavilion to make the garden a place to linger.
