Providence Park Apartment

The story

A high-floor family apartment in Permata Hijau, finished as a calm, light-drawn home above the Jakarta skyline. Polished cream marble carries through the entry, living and dining rooms: a carved, contour-grooved timber strip runs across the foyer ceiling and down into a lit niche, a patchwork wall of copper-toned panels and glass display boxes anchors the living room, and a backlit composition of black and brass frames plays beneath a black ceiling lantern of amber glass over the walnut dining table. The private rooms turn to dark timber floors and floating, under-lit beds — one set against a faceted terracotta headboard, another against a full wall of timber panelling — while thin lines of light are drawn through the walls of the children's room.
