The story
A warm modern family home realised down to the finest built detail. Sculptural room dividers of pale oak and slim black steel — one crowned by a soft, wave-like curved shelf — screen the plan without closing it off, framing a coffee-bar station with a lever espresso machine and threading light between living, dining and kitchen. The compact kitchen pairs white bevelled subway tile and warm Calacatta marble with fluted-glass cabinets and a black-framed picture window onto the garden, while a moody study nook lined in blackened fluted timber and cove lighting offers a quiet retreat. A slatted black entry cabinet with oak cubby shoe storage grounds the arrival, and full-height glazing opens onto a private, netted basketball half-court — an unexpected, joyful heart to family life.
